Clashes broke out during a Muharram procession in Jogbani, located on the India-Nepal border in Bihar's Araria district. The incident occurred at the Karbala ground when stones were reportedly thrown during the Tazia procession.

Approximately half a dozen individuals sustained injuries in the stone-pelting incident. Several shops also suffered damage, with glass panes being broken. The situation was brought under control by the joint efforts of the local police and the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), which guards the border.
