Haridwar, Uttarakhand – On September 20, a soldier from Bihar went into sudden cardiac arrest while performing his duties in Haridwar. He was rushed immediately to the emergency department of Rishikesh EMS, where doctors attempted resuscitation.
Despite intensive medical efforts, the soldier could not be revived and was declared dead at approximately 9:30 p.m. the same night.
Following the official procedures, his body was taken back to his home village in Bihar, wrapped in the Indian tricolor. The sight of the flag‑draped remains drew a large gathering of villagers, who expressed deep sorrow and paid their respects.
Local authorities and senior officers attended the solemn procession, underscoring the respect accorded to a serviceman who lost his life while on duty.
