Bihar Sees Record Tourist Inflow

The state of Bihar has seen a significant surge in tourist arrivals, marking a new milestone for the local tourism industry. According to Udayan Mishra, Director of the Tourism Department, the primary objective of promoting tourism is not only to develop tourist sites but also to create new employment opportunities for young people, women, and local entrepreneurs. This initiative aims to empower self-help groups and generate livelihoods for the local community. By doing so, the department hopes to contribute to the overall economic growth of the state.
