The Bihar government has extended the last date for submitting applications for the 2026 Library Superintendent eligibility test from October 21 to October 31, giving candidates an extra ten days.
The state government of Bihar announced on Tuesday that the deadline for filing applications for the Library Superintendent eligibility examination scheduled for 2026 has been moved from October 21 to October 31. The extension was issued through an official notification released by the Bihar Public Service Commission.
The examination, which selects qualified candidates to manage public libraries across the state, is open to eligible library professionals who meet the prescribed educational and experience criteria. By granting an additional ten days, the authorities aim to enable more aspirants to complete their paperwork and submit required documents.
Candidates are advised to review the revised schedule on the commission’s website and ensure that all forms, fees, and supporting certificates are uploaded before the new cut‑off date. Late submissions will not be entertained, and any queries can be directed to the commission’s helpline.
