Bihar Police have intensified surveillance and search operations along the Nepal border after a surge in cross‑border violence, aiming to curb illegal activities and ensure security.
Cross‑border violence between India and Nepal has escalated in recent weeks, prompting the Bihar Police to launch heightened surveillance and search operations along the border. The police have deployed additional personnel and set up checkpoints to monitor movement and intercept illicit activities. Officials say the measures aim to prevent smuggling, illegal migration and potential armed incursions. The police have also coordinated with the Indian Army and the Border Security Force to strengthen security in the region.
