Bihar Police Attacked

A police team from Khanpur police station was attacked by relatives and villagers while trying to arrest a wanted criminal in Sindiyaghat market of Vhibhutipur area in Samastipur district. The attack occurred on Tuesday evening and a female police officer was injured. The police vehicle was also damaged in the incident. The wanted criminal was being arrested by the police team, but the villagers and relatives opposed the arrest and resorted to stone pelting.
