A Jan Suraj leader was arrested for allegedly misusing a business loan. The leader, Ashutosh Kumar, had taken a loan of 19.28 lakhs from SBI's Kashipur branch in 2018.
The arrest was made in connection with a case of loan misuse and bank fraud. According to reports, Ashutosh Kumar had taken the loan for a printing press business but allegedly used it for other purposes. The SBI's Kashipur branch in Samastipur had granted the loan in 2018. The police have taken action against the leader after receiving a complaint from the bank.
