Patna, Sept 23 — The Bihar government has introduced a revamped single‑window clearance portal aimed at simplifying business procedures across the state. The platform integrates 62 services provided by nine different departments, ranging from licence issuance to regulatory approvals.
Through the portal, investors can view required clearances, submit applications, upload supporting documents and monitor the status of their requests in real time. The digital interface is designed to reduce paperwork, cut processing times and improve transparency for both new and existing enterprises.
Industry officials said the initiative aligns with the state's broader push for e‑governance and is expected to attract greater private investment by making compliance more predictable. The portal is now live and accessible to all stakeholders via a dedicated website.
