Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary inaugurated Bihar's Rabi MahaAbhiyan-2026, flagging off 40 mobile units that will disseminate information on advanced farming techniques, government schemes and subsidies to farmers across the state.
Bihar's Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary officially kicked off the Rabi MahaAbhiyan-2026 on Thursday, unveiling forty specially equipped farmer‑awareness vehicles. The convoy, marked with the state emblem, set off from the capital to traverse rural districts over the coming months.
The campaign is designed to reach small and marginal farmers with practical guidance on modern agricultural practices, including precision sowing, water‑efficient irrigation and soil health management. Officials said the mobile units will also carry detailed brochures on central and state subsidy schemes, credit facilities and crop‑insurance options.
State agriculture department officials emphasized that the initiative aligns with the government's broader effort to boost Rabi‑season productivity and reduce reliance on traditional methods. The vehicles are expected to visit villages on a scheduled route, allowing farmers to interact directly with extension officers and obtain real‑time assistance.
