Ravi Shankar Giri, a laborer from Alampur Kodaria village in Samastipur, Bihar, was found dead in Mumbai while working on a shuttering job, prompting a police probe into the circumstances.

Ravi Shankar Giri, a resident of Alampur Kodaria village in the Vibhutipur police jurisdiction of Samastipur district, Bihar, travelled to Mumbai about two months ago to earn a livelihood for his family. He was employed as a shuttering laborer on a construction site in the city.

According to reports, Giri was found dead under circumstances that remain unclear, prompting local authorities in Mumbai to launch an investigation. The exact cause of death has not been disclosed, and police are treating the case as suspicious.

His family in Bihar, who depend on his earnings, expressed shock and grief over the sudden loss. The incident has drawn attention to the precarious conditions faced by migrant workers in metropolitan construction sites.
