Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary has authorized the transfer of over ₹200 crore to more than 3.96 lakh farmers. The funds are being disbursed directly into their bank accounts under the Agriculture Input Subsidy Scheme.

Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary announced the transfer of a significant financial aid package to the state's farming community. Over ₹200 crore has been credited directly into the bank accounts of more than 3.96 lakh farmers.

This disbursement is part of the Agriculture Input Subsidy Scheme, aimed at providing relief to farmers who have been impacted by adverse conditions. The funds are being transferred via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) to ensure efficient and transparent delivery.

The initiative seeks to support farmers by compensating for losses and enabling them to procure necessary agricultural inputs for future cultivation.
