The Bihar state administration announced a scheme to pay content creators a cash reward of Rs 10,000 for each video that crosses 100,000 views, urging creators to shift their focus to the state.

Patna – The Bihar government has introduced a new incentive program aimed at digital content creators. Under the scheme, any creator whose video garners 100,000 views will receive a direct payment of Rs 10,000 from the state treasury. The move is intended to boost the state's visibility on online platforms and encourage creators to produce content that highlights Bihar's culture, tourism and development initiatives.

Officials said the payment will be processed through a dedicated portal where creators can submit proof of viewership and bank details. The scheme does not specify a limit on the number of videos per creator, allowing multiple payouts if the view threshold is repeatedly met.

State officials described the initiative as a call for creators to "shift to Bihar," emphasizing that the state is ready to support high‑performing digital content. The announcement was reported by News18, and the government plans to monitor the program's impact on both local talent and the broader perception of Bihar across social media.

The scheme aligns with broader efforts by state administrations to leverage digital media for economic and cultural promotion, positioning Bihar as a competitive destination for online creators.
