Bihar Gets 19 New Courts

The Bihar government has taken a significant step towards ensuring justice for the marginalized communities by approving the establishment of 19 additional special courts. These courts will exclusively handle cases under the SC-ST Act, which aims to prevent atrocities against the scheduled castes and tribes. The creation of these special courts is expected to expedite the disposal of pending cases, providing relief to the victims and their families. The state government has also approved the creation of 171 new posts to facilitate the functioning of these courts.
