A shootout occurred between police and criminals in Khagaria, Bihar. One criminal, Akhilesh Singh, was injured in the police retaliation.
An encounter took place in the Belaur police station area of Khagaria, Bihar. The police were met with gunfire from the criminals as soon as they arrived. In retaliation, the police fired back, injuring one of the criminals, Akhilesh Singh, in the leg. The incident has been confirmed by SP Bhonu Pratap Singh. The police had launched an operation in the area, which led to the encounter. The injured criminal is currently undergoing treatment.
