After a two-year struggle, a consumer in Bihar's Aurangabad district has been awarded Rs 33,799 following an error by the local post office which initially made a wrong entry in the customer's account.
A consumer in Bihar's Aurangabad district has finally received justice after a two-year ordeal stemming from an error by the local post office in Hasupura. The post office had initially made an incorrect entry of Rs 33,799 in the customer's account.
Despite raising objections regarding the discrepancy, the issue remained unresolved. Consequently, the affected consumer sought recourse by approaching the Consumer Redressal Forum in Aurangabad.
Following a protracted two-year period of legal proceedings and persistence, the consumer commission ruled in favour of the customer, ordering the post office to pay the rightful amount of Rs 33,799.
