Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary will personally hold a press conference after today’s cabinet meeting, marking the first time he addresses the media directly and signalling a major announcement.
The Bihar cabinet, traditionally convened under the direct leadership of the chief minister, has always briefed the media through senior Indian Administrative Service officers. This protocol has been the norm for every cabinet session held in the state capital.
In a departure from this practice, Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary is set to address the press himself after today’s cabinet meeting. The move is being described as a "big decision" and will be the first instance of the CM appearing in a press conference directly.
The announcement is expected to carry significant political weight, though the specifics of the decision have not been disclosed. Analysts suggest that the chief minister’s personal appearance underscores the importance of the forthcoming policy or administrative measure.
Stakeholders and opposition leaders are awaiting the details, which are likely to be revealed during the press briefing later today.
