The assessment highlighted that six relief camps are currently operational, providing shelter to a total of 3,550 flood‑displaced individuals. In parallel, 100 community kitchens have been set up, delivering meals to roughly 140,000 people since the floods began.
A fleet of 221 boats is being deployed to assist with rescue operations, transport of supplies, and evacuation of residents from inundated areas. The state government also confirmed that a grant from the Department of Biotechnology (DBT) is expected to be released on 9 October to bolster ongoing relief efforts.
