The Bihar government has issued an order prohibiting teachers and students from creating video reels and barring outsiders from entering schools while classes are in session.

The education department of Bihar has issued a formal directive that bars both teachers and students from filming or posting short video reels on social media platforms. The order applies to all schools under the state’s jurisdiction, including government and privately‑run institutions.

In addition to the ban on reels, the circular instructs school authorities to deny entry to any outsider when regular classes are in progress. The restriction is meant to ensure that classrooms remain undisturbed and that teaching time is not compromised by external interference.

Officials said the measure aims to curb distractions and maintain a focused learning environment for students. The department will monitor compliance and take action against violations, though specific penalties were not detailed in the announcement.
