Bihar Agriculture Dept Faces Graft Allegations, Minister Orders Probe

Allegations of corruption and irregularities have emerged concerning the Agriculture Department in Belaganj, Bihar. The accusations surfaced during a public welfare camp where issues of alleged negligence in providing benefits to farmers and a lack of transparency in departmental operations were raised.

In response to these serious charges, Minister Vijay Sinha has directed that a thorough investigation into the matter be conducted. The probe aims to ascertain the validity of the claims made against the department and ensure accountability.

The allegations were brought forward by Congress leader Nunu Singh, who highlighted concerns regarding the implementation of various schemes and the overall functioning of the agricultural sector in the region.
