Bidar Police Seize Over Rs 4 Lakh Worth Cannabis Plants in Mudabi
Bidar: Under the direct supervision of IPS officer Pradeep Gunti, senior police officials of Bidar district conducted a raid in Mudabi village's Shivarad field where cannabis plants were being illegally cultivated without government permission. The operation was led by Humnabad sub-division Deputy Superintendent of Police Madolappa P.S. along with CPI Mantala circle officers Amol Kale, Kumari, Jaishree PSI, and other police personnel including Shankreppa, Hanumantha, Renukappa, Nandeesha, Guruling, and Tatya Rao. During the raid, 183 fresh cannabis plants weighing approximately 8.82 kilograms and valued at Rs 4,41,000 were seized, and the accused was apprehended.

The Bidar police emphasized that cultivating, consuming, or supplying narcotic substances is a punishable offense. They warned the public against engaging in illegal activities that could ruin their future and pledged to continue efforts to make Bidar a drug-free district.
