Bhopal: Suspect Linked to Banned PFI, SIMI Tried to Form New Module

An alleged terrorist, Mohammad Faraz alias Khalid, arrested in Bhopal, is reportedly in contact with individuals linked to banned organizations PFI and SIMI. He was attempting to establish a new module.

Authorities in Bhopal have apprehended a suspect identified as Mohammad Faraz, also known as Khalid. Interrogation has revealed that Faraz was allegedly in communication with individuals associated with banned organizations, specifically the Popular Front of India (PFI) and the Students Islamic Movement of India (SIMI).

During questioning, Faraz reportedly disclosed his efforts to construct a new operational module. This initiative was allegedly based on existing networks associated with the aforementioned banned groups. The investigation is being conducted by the Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS).
