Bhopal Prays for Rain

In a unique attempt to pray for good rainfall, Congress leaders in Bhopal performed a ritual on Saturday. The event took place at Kolar square, where donkeys were given a warm welcome with flower garlands. The leaders also fed the donkeys gulab jamun, a traditional Indian sweet dish, as an offering to Lord Indra, the Hindu god of rain. This unusual ritual was aimed at appeasing Lord Indra to bring much-needed rainfall to the region. The event was attended by several Congress leaders, who participated in the ritual with great enthusiasm.
