Bhopal Nears Final Site Selection for 2027 Global Investors Summit in Satgadhi-Mahabadiya

Bhopman officials have earmarked the Satgadhi-Mahabadiya area in Kolhar as the venue for the 2027 Global Investors Summit, with infrastructure work set to begin soon.
Officials in Bhopal have identified the Satgadhi-Mahabadiya area in the Kolhar region as the preferred location for the 2027 Global Investors Summit after a site inspection.
The decision follows a detailed survey by state and central authorities, who deemed the site suitable due to its connectivity, available land and scope for infrastructure development.
Work on basic amenities, road upgrades and temporary facilities is slated to begin later this year, with the aim of having a fully functional venue ready well before the summit scheduled for early 2027.
The summit, expected to draw foreign delegations and major investors, is part of Madhya Pradesh’s strategy to boost capital inflows and showcase its industrial potential.
Local officials said the project will also generate employment and spur ancillary development in the surrounding villages.
