The Madhya Pradesh Lokayukta has begun probing Head Constable Firuz Khan, who reportedly owns 46 immovable properties worth ₹64 crore, amid allegations of stamp duty irregularities and involvement of close associates.

The investigation was launched by the Madhya Pradesh Lokayukta after reports surfaced that Head Constable Firuz Khan of the Indore Police Training College owns 46 immovable properties valued at approximately ₹64 crore. The probe is examining how the constable acquired the assets, with a focus on alleged stamp duty irregularities. Officials are also scrutinizing the role of Khan’s wife, close acquaintances and other officers who may have facilitated the transactions. The Lokayukta has requested detailed records from the police department and is coordinating with the state revenue department to verify property titles. The investigation is expected to shed light on possible corruption and misuse of public office.
