Bhopal: JP Hospital Introduces New Charges

The JP Hospital in Bhopal has introduced new charges for patients admitted to its general wards and Intensive Care Units (ICUs). As per the new rules, patients will have to pay 50 rupees per day for a bed in the general ward and 100 rupees per day for a bed in the ICU. The hospital administration has cited the budget of the Patient Welfare Committee as the reason for introducing these new charges. This move is expected to affect a large number of patients, especially those from economically weaker sections. The hospital authorities have stated that the new charges are necessary to maintain the quality of services provided to the patients.
