The Bhatinda Faculty of Health Sciences has ruled 525 candidates ineligible for the 2026 MBBS and BDS admissions after discovering they held domicile certificates from two states.

In a decisive move, the Bhatinda Faculty of Health Sciences (BFUHS) announced that 525 applicants for the 2026 MBBS and BDS seats have been declared ineligible. The decision follows an investigation that uncovered multiple candidates holding domicile certificates from more than one state. According to BFUHS officials, the double domicile claims violate the eligibility criteria set by the Punjab government for medical admissions. The affected candidates were notified in writing and advised to seek clarification from the university. The announcement comes ahead of the final allotment of seats for the upcoming admission cycle.
