BCCI chief Devajit Saikia unveiled plans for a future‑ready Centre of Excellence that will support Indian cricket for the next three decades.
BCCI announced today that it will establish a future‑ready Centre of Excellence (COE) aimed at sustaining Indian cricket for 30 years.
Devajit Saikia, the board’s chief executive officer, said the COE will integrate advanced training facilities, data analytics and sports science to nurture talent across the country.
The initiative is expected to provide a consistent pipeline of players, coaches and support staff, ensuring that India’s cricketing infrastructure keeps pace with global standards.
BCCI officials highlighted that the long‑term vision will also include community outreach and grassroots programs, reinforcing the sport’s growth at the base level.
