Bathinda Civil Hospital in Punjab has inaugurated a new diagnostic laboratory that provides a one‑stop facility for a range of medical tests. The centre, which recently began operations, brings pathology, radiology and other investigations together under one roof, aiming to cut down patient waiting times. Hospital officials indicated that the lab will enable faster diagnosis and treatment for patients from Bathinda and neighbouring districts. The initiative is part of the state health department’s broader effort to upgrade medical infrastructure in semi‑urban areas.
