Barwani Police Arrest 5 Scamsters

In a swift operation, the Barwani police have apprehended five individuals accused of cheating people by promising marriage. The arrests were made within 24 hours of the complaint being filed. The accused, comprising four men and one woman, were found to be in possession of stolen goods worth over 1.73 lakh rupees. The police also recovered 43,000 rupees in cash, a motorcycle, and three mobile phones from the accused. The police action is seen as a significant crackdown on such scams in the region.
