Two armed men on a motorcycle seized a bag containing ₹4.2 million from three Bank of India staff returning from an ATM near Akshyapathra Chowk, Jaipur.

In Jaipur, near the Akshyapathra intersection, three employees of Bank of India were returning from an ATM when two men on a motorcycle confronted them. The assailants brandished a pistol and forced the staff to hand over a bag that contained approximately ₹4.2 million withdrawn from the machine. After seizing the cash, the gunmen escaped on the bike, leaving the employees unharmed but shocked.

Police units arrived at the scene shortly after the robbery was reported and began a search for the suspects. Investigators have recovered the weapon used in the incident and are reviewing CCTV footage from the bank and nearby streets to identify the perpetrators. The amount stolen, 42 lakh rupees, has been confirmed by bank officials.

The incident has prompted the Bank of India to advise its staff to exercise heightened caution while handling cash withdrawals, especially in high‑traffic areas. Local authorities have urged the public to report any sightings of the described motorcycle or individuals matching the description of the gunmen as the investigation continues.
