Construction of the underground metro station inside the terminal of Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) has reached 85% of its civil works, according to officials.
The new station will provide a direct link between the airport and Bangalore’s metro network, easing travel for passengers and boosting connectivity.
Trial operations are slated to begin in early 2025, after which the station will open for regular service.
