Balapur Plastic Warehouse Fire Causes Crore‑Level Losses

A fire broke out at a plastic godown in Balapur, Maharashtra, on Tuesday, consuming large quantities of stored plastic. The blaze was reported to authorities by local residents, who said the flames spread rapidly due to the high flammability of the material. Preliminary estimates suggest that the damage could amount to several crores of rupees, affecting the business’s inventory and operations. Firefighters worked through the night to contain the fire, but the heat had already destroyed a significant portion of the warehouse.
