Thousands of devotees gathered at the Shri Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain for a divine 'Bhasma Aarti' where Baba Mahakal was elaborately decorated.
In Ujjain, the world-renowned Shri Mahakaleshwar Temple witnessed a spectacular 'Bhasma Aarti' on Monday morning during Jyeshtha Shukla Paksha Ashtami. Lord Mahakal was adorned with traditional markings of 'Tri-Pund' and 'Tri-Netra' as part of the divine ritual. The deity was also depicted wearing a garland of 'Ram Naam' and smeared with ash on his head, presenting a unique and awe-inspiring sight for devotees.
Thousands of devotees thronged the temple premises from late Sunday night to partake in the sacred Bhasma Aarti and catch a glimpse of the deity's divine form. The spiritual atmosphere was palpable as pilgrims gathered for the early morning ceremony, seeking blessings from Baba Mahakal.
