Australia Tightens Visa Rules for Indian Applicants with New Biometric Checks

Australia has broadened the biometric requirements for visa applicants from India, adding new data collection steps to its immigration process.
Under the updated policy, Indian applicants will now need to provide additional biometric information, such as fingerprint scans and facial photographs, during the visa application.
The move is part of Canberra’s ongoing efforts to strengthen security measures and streamline visa processing for foreign nationals.
Applicants are advised to check the Australian Department of Home Affairs website for detailed instructions and the list of biometric data required.
