Assam Floods: Death Toll Climbs to 105, Over 32,000 Displaced

Assam has been hit by unprecedented flooding after weeks of heavy rainfall, submerging vast stretches of the Brahmaputra and Barak river basins. The floods have claimed 105 lives and forced more than 32,000 people to seek shelter in temporary camps. State authorities have deployed the Assam Police, Army and National Disaster Response Force to conduct search‑and‑rescue operations in affected districts.
