Assam Congress to Deploy 'Vote Rakshaks' at Polling Stations

In a move to ensure transparency and accuracy in the upcoming elections, the Assam Congress is set to deploy 'Vote Rakshaks' at every polling booth across the state. These volunteers will be tasked with monitoring electoral rolls and identifying any discrepancies or potential irregularities. The Congress aims to have 'Vote Rakshaks' present at all 31,486 polling booths to ensure comprehensive oversight of the electoral process. The party believes this initiative will strengthen the democratic process and safeguard the integrity of the electoral rolls.
