The Association of Sports Integrity Professionals (ASIP) has called for intensified anti‑doping education and stricter awareness programmes in India’s sporting ecosystem.

The Association of Sports Integrity Professionals (ASIP) issued a statement urging Indian sports bodies, athletes and coaches to adopt more robust anti‑doping awareness initiatives. The organisation highlighted that despite existing regulations, gaps in education and compliance continue to expose athletes to inadvertent violations.

ASIP recommended that national federations integrate regular anti‑doping workshops, digital learning modules and clear communication of prohibited substances into their training curricula. It also called for increased collaboration with the National Anti‑Doping Agency to ensure consistent messaging.

The statement comes amid growing concerns that limited awareness could undermine India’s efforts to maintain a clean sporting environment and affect its performance on international platforms.
