An ASI of the Dial‑112 emergency service died after his motorcycle hit a road divider on NH‑22 near Khneeta village, Belaganj, Bihar.
Late Monday night, a motorcycle travelling on National Highway 22 between Gaya and Patna collided with a concrete divider near Khneeta village in the Belaganj area of Bihar. The impact was severe enough to cause the rider to be thrown from the bike.
The rider was identified as Assistant Sub‑Inspector Sunil Chaudhary of the Dial‑112 emergency response unit. He was on duty when the accident occurred and was immediately rushed to the nearest medical college hospital.
Despite prompt medical attention, Chaudhary sustained critical injuries and was declared dead by the attending physicians.
Local police have opened a preliminary investigation to determine the cause of the crash and have reminded motorists to observe speed limits and road safety measures, especially on high‑traffic highways.
