Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal questioned the government's handling of law‑and‑order after volunteers of the CJP were assaulted in Rajasthan, accusing the BJP of failing to protect citizens.

Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal addressed the media on Tuesday, asking "What's going on in the country?" after reports emerged of an attack on volunteers of the CJP in Rajasthan. He said the incident reflected a breakdown in law‑and‑order and demanded an immediate response from the state administration.

The assault on the CJP volunteers, whose work focuses on community outreach, was described by Kejriwal as a failure of the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party to ensure safety for civil society actors. While details of the incident remain sparse, the chief minister stressed that any attack on citizens, irrespective of their affiliation, must be investigated thoroughly.

Kejriwal urged the central and state governments to act swiftly, warning that repeated lapses could erode public confidence. He called on the BJP to take responsibility and to prevent further violence against volunteers and ordinary citizens alike.
