Arunachal’s Tamo Bakhang Awarded State Gold for Bravery and Service

Tamo Bakhang, a resident of Arunachal Pradesh, was presented with the state gold medal for bravery and service during a ceremony held in the state capital on 15 September 2024. The award, the highest civilian honour in Arunachal, was conferred by the Chief Minister in recognition of Bakhang’s courageous actions during a recent rescue operation that saved several lives.
