The BCCI‑sanctioned Cooch Behar Trophy Plate will see Arunachal Pradesh’s under‑19 side play Meghalaya’s under‑19 team in Nadiad from 26 to 29 November 2026.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has scheduled a Plate‑group encounter of the Cooch Behar Trophy between the under‑19 sides of Arunachal Pradesh and Meghalaya. The four‑day match will be played at the Nadiad Cricket Ground in Gujarat from 26 to 29 November 2026.
Both teams are part of the North‑East cricket development programme, and the fixture provides valuable exposure to young talent from regions where cricket infrastructure is still emerging. The tournament’s Plate division offers a competitive platform for these states to benchmark their progress against peers.
Organisers expect a modest crowd of local cricket enthusiasts, with provisions for live streaming on the BCCI’s digital platforms. The match will also be overseen by BCCI‑appointed officials to ensure standard playing conditions.
