Arunachal Pradesh Kiwi Shipment Arrives in Dubai for Market Testing

A fresh batch of kiwis cultivated in Arunachal Pradesh has been dispatched to Dubai as part of a market testing initiative. The shipment aims to assess the fruit's acceptance among Middle Eastern consumers and identify potential demand channels. Officials from the state agriculture department coordinated the export, highlighting the region's growing focus on horticultural diversification.

The move reflects Arunachal Pradesh's strategy to tap into international markets for its high‑altitude produce. By testing the product in Dubai, a major trade hub, the state hopes to gather data that could inform larger-scale export plans.

Stakeholders anticipate that positive feedback could pave the way for regular shipments, boosting farmer incomes and positioning the state as a new source of premium kiwis in the global market.
