The state of Arunachal Pradesh has officially become part of the Namami Bharatam initiative, observing the 150th anniversary of the iconic song Vande Mataram.
Arunachal Pradesh has formally joined the Namami Bharatam programme as part of nationwide celebrations marking 150 years since the composition of Vande Mataram. The state government issued a statement confirming its participation, aligning with the central government's cultural outreach.
Vande Mataram, penned in the late 19th century, holds a special place in India's freedom struggle and was later adopted as the national song. Across the country, various events are being organised to commemorate this milestone, and Arunachal Pradesh will host activities under the Namami Bharatam banner.
