The state government announced the completion of a major power network upgrade in Arunachal Pradesh, which involved the installation of two new 33kV transmission lines. The new 33kV lines cover a combined length of several kilometres, linking previously underserved areas and ensuring smoother power flow across the state’s rugged terrain. By replacing older, lower‑capacity lines, the upgrade is expected to reduce transmission losses and improve voltage stability.
