The Arunachal Pradesh Board and OCWWB have given the green light for rural job card holders to be inducted into the state's labour board, aiming to enhance employment governance.
The Arunachal Pradesh Board (APB) in coordination with the Office of the Chief Welfare and Women’s Board (OCWWB) has formally approved the inclusion of rural job card holders into the state's labour board. This decision, reported by the Arunachal Observer, is intended to broaden representation of the rural workforce in labour policy deliberations.
Officials said the move will allow job card beneficiaries, who are primarily engaged in agricultural and allied activities, to have a direct voice in the formulation and oversight of labour regulations.
