Arunachal Minister Ojing Tasing Meets Jal Shakti Minister C.R. Paatil on SBM‑G Review

The ministerial meeting took place in Arunachal Pradesh, where state minister Ojing Tasing welcomed Union Jal Shakti Minister C.R. Paatil for a detailed review of the Swachh Bharat Mission‑Gramin (SBM‑G) rollout. Both officials examined the current status of rural sanitation initiatives across the state, focusing on the construction of household toilets and community sanitation facilities.

During the discussion, the participants highlighted the challenges of reaching remote villages and the need for sustained financial and technical support. They noted that while several districts have shown measurable improvements, many habitations still lack basic sanitation infrastructure.
