The Arunachal Mahila Congress staged a protest by burning an effigy of actress Kangana Ranaut after she referred to the youth as a 'generation gutter'.
The Arunachal Mahila Congress, the women's wing of the state's Congress party, staged a protest in Arunachal Pradesh by burning an effigy of actress Kangana Ranaut.
The effigy was set ablaze after Ranaut, in a recent interview, referred to the younger generation as a 'generation gutter', a remark that drew sharp criticism from the party.
Party leaders said the act was a symbolic protest against what they view as disrespectful language towards the youth and a call for greater responsibility.
No injuries were reported, and the protest ended without escalation.
