Arunachal Pradesh’s health minister visited the state’s Integrated Control Room (ICR) today to review the escalating dengue situation. He noted that recent data shows a sharp rise in reported cases across several districts.
The minister stressed the importance of a coordinated response, calling on health officials, local authorities and community volunteers to work together to curb the spread of the virus.
He highlighted ongoing vector‑control activities, including fumigation and larval source reduction, and urged the rapid deployment of diagnostic facilities to ensure early detection and treatment.
Residents were reminded to report stagnant water sites and to use mosquito nets and repellents to protect themselves.
