Chief Minister Pema Khandu took a tour of the Bureau of Radio and Television’s (BRO) latest strategic connectivity projects in Arunachal Pradesh on Thursday. The visit, which focused on the state’s remote regions, saw the CM walk through newly installed transmission towers and satellite uplink facilities.
During the inspection, Khandu met with BRO officials and technical staff to discuss the technical specifications and operational readiness of the infrastructure. He highlighted the importance of reliable communication links for emergency services, education, and tourism development in the state.
The CM expressed satisfaction with the progress made so far and assured that the state government would continue to support BRO’s efforts to expand coverage. He also mentioned plans to integrate the new connectivity nodes with the national broadband network to enhance digital inclusion.
