Armed Firing by Youths in Dhaliwal Dona Village, Kapurthala Late Saturday Night

Around 20‑25 youths opened fire on a house in Dhaliwal Dona, Kapurthala district, Saturday night, also damaging two other homes.
A sudden outbreak of violence struck the village of Dhaliwal Dona in Kapurthala district on Saturday night when a group of roughly twenty to twenty‑five young men opened fire on a residential house. The gunfire was described as indiscriminate and created an atmosphere of terror among the villagers.
According to local reports, the same group also forced entry into two neighboring houses, causing damage to doors, windows and other fixtures. The incident was confined to the residential area of the village and no public spaces were reported to be affected.
Police were alerted to the incident shortly after the firing began. Law‑enforcement officials arrived at the scene, secured the area and began an investigation to identify the perpetrators. As of now, no arrests have been reported and the motive behind the attack remains unclear.
